Yeah what damn shame it would be for Rigondeaux's only loss of his career to come against some random bum fighter due to a terrible DQ call.

Only thing similar I can think of is Roy Jones first loss of his career, a DQ against Monte Griffin, and while Griffin certainly exaggerated that as well, it was a pretty blatant late hit that did some real damage. Flores flopped big time and was himself fighting after the bell.

I see Kovalev and a lot of people on forums are saying it was a low blows by Ward and the ref was ignoring low blows throughout the fight. There were a couple that were close but that's not what won Wars the fight, Kovalev was getting his ass kicked.

As demonstrated by Tony Weeks before the opening bell, showing what's legal here:

That's all the proof anyone should need right here, weeks clearly shows what is legal and what isn't

Krusher got crushed. You'd have to be ashamed making all those excuses after the first fight and going in to full WAR mode in the build up only to get beat down like that.

It seems like there's still some controversy in Wards win. But honestly who could beat him? He's on top of the pile no doubt, pound for pound.

So the Rigondeaux fight was changed to a No Contest. As long as it's not a DQ I'm fine with that. It sucks because Flores clearly was faking being hurt but a No Contest is far better than a loss.

Guillermo Rigondeaux's KO1 of Moises Flores on Saturday night will be changed to a no decision on Monday by the Nevada State Athletic Commission

So what sucks about that is that Flores was a mandatory. I'm gonna assume they're gonna call for an immediate rematch. Wish he could've just moved on from Flores.
