I'm not the biggest fan of Atlas as a trainer these days. His shtick is probably good for the first few times out, but after a while I can see an established millionaire fighter getting tired of it. Seems like Bradley has taken well to him, but it's only been one fight.

I hope it works out for Bradley, the guy has one of the best resumes for a top fighter in recent times. Basically since he beat Miguel Vazquez in '07 he hasn't had one shitty opponent.

Povetkin regressed badly under Atlas and was struggling with journeymen and has looked way better after Atlas.

I agree about Atlas. I think it's fair to say he probably isn't a good trainer at all. He has a bad falling out with EVERYONE he trains, it never ends on good terms. He's a good motivator but like you say after a few fights it gets old. Povetkin went from amazing prospect to looking like horse shit when he was with Atlas, to looking amazing again as soon as he got rid of him. There is a language barrier of course but still. I remember in the last fight he was with him Atlas was screaming about his dead father, win for your dead father, etc etc, Povetkin was looking at him like STFU lol. But it might work really good with Bradley we'll see.

Man I'm kind of surprised you were able to avoid spoilers. I wonder if a lot of people just didn't catch the card. Definitely some round of the year candidates etc. Williams Vs. Savigne was fun as hell too. Let me know when you check them out.

Man what a performance by Saul Rodriguez tonight. Smoked Najera in a round.

.. what a terrible put together card by Top Rank here. First fight ends in a round then on a card where they had Ponomarev (28-0 and just beat Zewski), Casey Ramos (20-0), Toka Kahn Clary (16-0) and Oleksandr Gvozdyk who's been looking impressive in his short career they fill over an hour of garbage TV/commercials then start the Ramirez nearly an hour after the first ended.

A few good fights from yesterday..

Arthur Abraham vs. Martin Murray, 12 rounds, for Abraham's WBO super middleweight title
Gilberto Ramirez is the mandatory for this title. Winner of this fight Vs. Ramirez is likely to end up on the Pacquiao card in April.


Darleys Perez vs. Anthony Crolla, rematch, 12 rounds, for Perez's WBA lightweight title
Impressive performance in this fight. They fought to a draw last time out.


Chris Jenkins vs. Tyrone Nurse, rematch, 12 rounds, for vacant British junior welterweight title
Another rematch of 2 guys that fought to a draw and this turned out to be a pretty good fight. Worth watching if you have some time.

Tyson Fury vs Klitschko tomorrow in the day time, don't forget comrades. I have a feeling this will be must watch TV. Either Fury will get KTFO in comedic fashion or he's going to push Klitschko into a real right just based on size alone. In any event, some funny shit will go down. Of course I'm pulling for the Irish Gypsy but I expect him to get KTFO.

This card starts in 30 minutes on NBC. I think Erickson Lubin Vs. Alexis Camacho is also supposed to be aired.

Definitely excited to see Spence fight, hopefully he can get a big fight in 2016.
