Man I don't like to get on guys for quitting because who knows what's going on with them in there, but that's a bit disappointing from Walters.

The most impressive part of the fight was that Loma did all this while staying in punching range basically the entire fight.
Yeah man, that looked really bad. Very disappointed.

Loma has amazing footwork.

How was I supposed to know Walters would get his period in the middle of the seventh round?

I think Roy jones called it right, lomachenko needs to challenge the jackal. Guillermo rigondeaux before he moves on

Not sure it's gonna happen. Unless something's changed recently Rigo's stated that he doesn't really want to go too much past 122 and Loma is already at 130 and I really do know how long he'll stay there considering that lack of opposition at the weight.

The time to have made that fight would've been sometime last year. I still don't know what RN is doing with Rigo. I'd rather him fight consistently in Japan (which he could and they'd pay him to go over there) over sitting on the shelf and coming out to fight a guy like Dickens once a year.

Considering there's no one in the division I really see fucking with him, if there isn't a unification fight or a division move next they should make the Salido rematch before he's completely done.
I'd like him to settle the score with Salido. First fight was a travesty. I'd go as far as saying Loma stops him this time around too.

Vasyl Lomachenko has CompuBox’s highest rating since Mayweather

The Plus/Minus differential takes into account a boxers percentage of punches landed minus the percentage of punches landed on them. As of right now, the top 10 fighters in the Plus/Minus category are as follows:

1. Vasyl Lomachenko (+20.9)

2. Gennady Golovkin (+15.1)
3. Andre Ward (+15.1)
4. Erislandy Lara (+14.4)
5. Naoya Inoue (+14)

Do you know if CompuBox uses their numbers from fight night or do they go back and do statistical breakdowns? I'm sure those numbers are accurate I just hate how people use their live punch stats for arguments.

There's a dude on Twitter (Punch Zone Aris or something like that) Who works for Compubox and was doing the Punch Zone thing for HBO last I'd talked to him, might be able to ask him? I'm not on Twitter anymore. I have no idea what the answer to your question is though.

They don't as far as I know. That's something I've suggested to them, at least for the big fights, but never got a response. Perhaps they use the +/- stats only by video and not the live combubox stats, idk, they haven't made that clear.

The +/- stats are interesting to me because it's a pool of data. Fight night combubox stats mean shit to me, especially as any sort of argument as to who won or lost, because as we all know it's inaccurate. But when they are looking at the collected data from numerous fights over the span of their career, then that means more to me. Individual fights may be flawed but that's true for the opponents as well so it evens out a bit (if I made any sense and again only when we're looking at the collected data).

It's pretty cool they at least do this. I didn't know they did this kind of stuff until recently because I hate CompuBox so much. I don't know why they don't at least do their live punch stats and then go back and do an accurate revised punch stats for the fight.

I guess their thinking is it would make them look bad if their numbers come out way off but no one should expect 2 guys with clickers being 100% accurate in live action.

Doesnt matter if he got a period or not. He was no match and even if he wouldve continued it wouldve only got worse. He actually bit off way more than he can chew lol. Got Em!!
