I felt like that was a draw. First half of the fight plus knockdowns for Kovalev, Ward takes the second half. Some close rounds in there though. They should rematch because I don't feel like either man was clearly better tonight.
I think Ward got 2 to 3 early rounds but Kovalev didn't do much in the 2nd half of the fight. Knockdowe prevented a draw hopefully a rematch

Yes he did, don't let ur hate for Ward award Kovalev rounds he didn't win. Just cuz he got a knockdown doesn't mean he dominated enough of the fight to win. In the end up can't just stay on the outside to land all ur shots. Kovalev held way to much for 1 thing

Major props go out to Ward on the simple fact that he managed to keep this fight going and even turned it around, but give me a fucking break, no way in hell did he win this lmao. Either give him the benefit of the doubt via a draw or award the fight by a round in favor of Kovalev. Clearly a robbery.

It's hard to say which rounds were for Ward and which ones went for Kovalev when both fighters were fighting real dirty. But when Kovalev was missing, it was like Barry Bonds striking out bigtime! And I think in those close rounds when that was happening, they gave the rounds to Ward. Plus, after the fourth, Ward was connecting pretty clean. It was a very close fight to begin with, so it's not a surprise to me

Make no mistake, I dont like Ward and I thought the fight was close. I could see 114-113 Kovalev, he had a 10-8 rd. I could see a draw but a win for Ward? Refs off too much priv heem like I am right now.

I might also add once Kovalev abandoned his jab and engaged in the wrestling tactics, he started losing rounds. Keep your distance dude and work the jab. He eventually started fighting on Ward's terms lol. He has only himself to blame for that in spite of the terrible judge's decision

Haha no more hating on Ward p4p #1 at the moment
The problem for him is a lot of people thought he lost.

I don't know if I can give him 7 rounds because remember, he got knock down. I'm gonna rewatch it later but I kinda felt like this was a draw or one point in favor of Kovalev. Very close though regardless, they need an immediate rematch and I hope Ward gives it to him especially considering the controversy.

^^^ I guess Max Kellerman should unfollow him. He was pretty critical of Lettermans card who scored Kovalev way ahead. I love his analysis at the end as well. Seems to me people dont want to give Ward those ugly rounds. I got round 1,3, and 5 for Ward and Ward winning the last 4 of 6. But yeah no way in hell he won 7 right. Round 3 he bounced back way better then everyone thought he would and stole that round.

Round 5 was the turning point were Kovelav started slowing down but no way right. Wasnt even 2nd half of the fight yet and Kovelav was not throwing punches like he was in those 1st couple rounds. I dont really care what others think its just funny to see people scream robbery

But in the first round Ward was stunned by a hard jab which was by far the most effective punch landed in the round. I think you have to give that round to Kovalev since Ward didn't land anything significant and got stunned. You score that correctly for Kovalev and it's a draw on your scorecard, yeah?
