I had it Khan 4-1. I had Lara beating him. I had Trout with a draw. Obviously Floyd won 10-11 rounds lol. Now this. Ridiculous. GGG will ko him and they know it thus why they wont fight him. Got Em!!

I feel like Canelo wants to fight ggg. He's probably sick of Caneloweight (the rumor is that making 155 was more of a struggle than usual) and HAS to be sick of being hounded by the media about fighting him.

I'm not sure if gbp can let him. The way Hopkins tried to deflect Ggg to Fighting himself and Andre Ward, and then the day of the khan fight starts saying ggg should fight Kovalev. Next thing it's gonna be Oscar putting the gloves back on jumping in the way of Ggg in order to save his cash cow. Kinda sad.

I Hope Canelo pushes for the fight and doesn't listen to all of them, or Mayweather interviews advising Canelo to avoid the fight.

I believe that he will and that we have a mega fight in September.

In case anyone actually cares, early PPV totals are out. HBO is not going to release the numbers, for whatever their reasons. Oscar/Golden Boy Claim 600,000, but industry insiders are saying anymore from 390,000 to 460,000. Personally I think those are pretty decent numbers considering everyone knew it was a blatant mismatch.

Canelo-Khan PPV Buys: Multiple Sources Point To 460,000

By Jake Donovan

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez did exactly what most expected would be the case in the ring for his May 7 middleweight title defense versus Amir Khan in Las Vegas, Nevada.

How well the pay-per-view telecast performed depends entirely on which source is to be trusted.

Numbers from legitimate sources reported to various outlet – though none willing to go on the record (including those who’ve responded to requests from BoxingScene.com) – have the four-fight PPV event selling anywhere from 390,000 to 600,000 units.

The most trusted sources – those without a dog in the hunt and greater connected to those who obtain data and trends from cable and satellite providers – have placed the event at 460,000 PPV buys. The figure was first reported by Yahoo! Sports senior boxing/MMA writer Kevin Iole, whose sources tend to be the most accurate when it comes to final PPV figures.

I reckon if Lara wins impressively he could possibly get Golovkin since Golovkin has one option - Saunders. Jacobs has a fight set July 30th vs TBA (heard Monroe is possible if he wins). Saunders may price himself out, so, Lara might have good timing if he's serious about fighting ggg. I think vanes has faded a lot since the first fight so Lara should have his way, we'll see!

BTW, you see Takam vs Parker? Also the Cuban Doritos was an awesome fight yesterday
I watched Dorticos Vs. Kalenga but I haven't seen Takam Vs. Parker.

I chose to watch that garbage Haye card earlier like an idiot. I need to watch Takam Vs. Parker and the Lebedev Vs. Ramirez unification fight with a few good prospects on the undercard. Bivol Vs. Valera is a dope fight, 2 undefeated guys both taking tough fights early on.

.

I can't believe Haye is going to fight Shannon Briggs next but I guess that's a step up from Garbajajajajajajajajaja

I gotta give it to Briggs though. He's been doing his "LETS GO CHAMP!!!" routine stalking champions for a few years now and it finally worked with stalking Haye. Lol Haye said he showed up at his uncles house the other day:

"He turned up at my uncle's house, banging on the door: I've got no clue. He was just like 'Well he's not here, mate'. He just said 'That nutcase turned up, banging on the door, screaming let's go champ'. He was actually staying in Bermondsey, on Long Lane, where I grew up. - See more at: Haye: Nutcase Shannon Briggs Showed Up at My Uncle's House! - Boxing News

I mean, at the very least the press conferences will be hilarious. Haye clearly trying to go the least amount of work for a big fight, that fight being Joshua. I image that would be fucking massive in the UK.

Regarding last nights showtime card, I was a little underwhelmed. Charlo bros looked more or less as I expected, Vanes was a bit tougher for Lara than I thought he would be though.

I wasn't impressed at all with Jermell even though he has the better resume of the two. Jackson was outboxing him handily through 7 rounds.

Jermall I thought looked real good, just didn't like how he closed out the fight. Trout is still a legit fighter and he beat him clean.

Not even gonna try to analyze anything Lara does. Dude will come out and blow someone away then put out a Delvin Rodriguez type performance.

Hopefully Jermall Vs. Julian Williams is next now that Jermall said he's staying at 154.

Caught myself pulling for Shane at the end there. Any decent version of Shane would've smoked Avanesyan. This is supposed to be a mandatory for the winner of Thurman/Porter. They should just take it immediately since it'll pretty much be a get right fight for the winner after a tough fight, don't see Avanesyan having anything for either of them.
