Tyron Brunson, Gamboa, Odlanier Solis, David Haye, Katsidis! This must be 2008! lol

Obviously this weekend Thurman vs Garcia and later Golovkin vs Jacobs are the big fights on the month, but some other nice fights as well, David Haye vs Bellew will be in the day time on Saturday, can check that out before Garcia/Thurman and a few others. Nice to see Claressa Shields in what looks like a headline for her, and Katie Taylor continues to get love in Europe, something I hope Claressa Shields can capture a little of, our only Gold Medalist in boxing!

Fuccin pumped for this weekends fights!

I'm rollin wit Thurman on this one tho.
Same here.

Even though I don't think it's going to be a banger or anything.

Garcia is counter puncher by nature. Thurman, despite having a reputation as a big puncher, is a thinking man in the ring. Garcia is going to want Thurman to come forward so he can set up his counters, his trademark hook, his bread and butter, but Thurman is going to be using his range, jab, pick his spots, pot shot with occasional flurries. I think it's going to be a close, hard to score possibly controversial, tactical fight. I don't think their styles mesh well as far as bringing a ton of entertainment goes. A chess match for sure.

But it's one of those fights that NEEDS to happen. Feels like they've been building this up for five years, doesn't it? Very evenly matched, would love to see Garcia KTFO but I doubt Thurman will be the one to do it, again because of their styles. I just hope whoever wins does so convincingly. Some clarity at 147 post-Mayweather would be great.

Holy shit just seen that Chad Dawson was on the undercard lol
Pfft there is a guy who disappeared. Went from lineal champ to irrelevant undercard filler. Lost his confidence for sure.

The biggest banger of a fight on paper is Golovkin vs Jacobs. That's a whole lot of KO power. GGG 23 KOs in a row, Jacobs 12 KOs in a row. We'll see if Canelo takes on the winner later this year and if he does, 2017 is on par for being the best year in the past 5 years or so. Which is needed after how shitty 2016 turned out to be.

I kinda have a feeling Haye vs Bellew will be a banger too, for however long it lasts. Maybe Bellew can hurt/drop Hate before he inevitably gets KOd himself.

Hyped as hell

This is pay per view worthy and it's on CBS!!!
This work week can't go by fast enough. The winner of this fight will be at the top of the sport and a unified champ. I don't think either of them would give Spence a shot this year or next, but it will be interesting to see where the winner goes from here.

I'm still picking 6 toes by the way.

Winner will be top of the welterweight division, I wouldn't say top of the sport or pound 4 pound best or anything like that. I still think they and pretty much everyone at 147 are B class fighters, maybe the winner is B+, maybe even A- if it's masterclass best down. But yeah man, I'll take Spence over either one of them right now. But that probably won't be for a while. Regardless, apparently Spence vs Kell Brook has been agreed upon for May. Another banger right there.

I'm just so pumped man, we are starting to get the fights that we want and need to happen in 2017, after suffering through so much fucking bullshit in 2016/15. And it starts right here with Six Toes vs Hippy Flute Player.

Haha damn. When cherry picking goes wrong. I had a feeling it was going to be a banger but of course I thought it would only last a few rounds. Never expected that. All that experience fighting Creed paying off!

Haye gonna need an ego transplant after that. And his dreams of a mega money fight against Joshua are officially down the toilet. I'm glad too, because Haye, as usual, was trying to get himself the biggest fight possible without putting in the work to actually deserve it. It worked for Klitschko, real talked his way into that fight more than anything else, but not this time. Getting stopped by a career light heavyweight not known for power is not a good luck. He may just retire for good now.

Props to Bellew man. Bellew talked his way into the fight after crushing Flores and pulled it off.

Right. Bellew actually is a champ at cruiserweight and Haye isn't anything at the moment, hadn't beat anyone relevant since Chisora in '12. And Haye was thinking this would be another easy fight against an actual name, not much of a threat, after fighting those two absolute jokers of opponents prior to this. And that was supposed to get him a title shot against Joshua? Kinda glad he got beat, I like when people earn a title shot.

I reckon Bellew will stick at cruiserweight after this, seems like the smart thing to do especially since he has a title there, he'd obviously get wrecked by any of the top heavyweights. Guess it just depends on what kind of money presents itself.

That heavyweight money is always the draw though man, especially considering he just stopped Haye who's super popular over there.

Malignaggi/Haye getting KO'd on the same night and we still have Thurman/Garcia.. it's gonna be a good night.

Yeah but sometimes you gotta look long term vs short term gains. Of course it all depends, if he gets a Joshua fight for example that's too good to pass up, but outside of that maybe it would be better defending that Cruiserweight title for as long as possible otherwise he could get sparked and end up hurting his worth. I don't really care either way I don't really like Bellew, I don't think he's very good and I don't like his personality, but it's just an interesting position he's suddenly in. I always try to put myself in their shoes and try to think how crazy all this would be and how hard it would be to try and make the right decision.

Yeah but you're not going to want to use Chrome or whatever you need a browser that supports Flash. So try Puffin for example.
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...-TVpkkdiYEoVgjfNw&sig2=bsTPHWxZQp4Gg8Cos3VBnw

Then check out:
Boxing live stream

That link shows it starts in 26 minutes. If that link fails it's pretty easy these days, just google search sports streams and you'll find a bunch of sites. But again just make sure to use a browser that supports Flash, Chrome and the likes typically don't support flash. I use Puffin myself right now and never have any issues.

Oh I'm not disagreeing with you, just that allure of heavyweight greatness and everything that comes with it, especially when you're in a division that doesn't get much play, is always too great. I normally think it's a bad idea when CW's try to make the leap but all the great ones try and I'm sure the win over Haye is going to get him some offers that'll be hard to pass up.
