Alright now that Eubank jr got that out of the way we're ready for the Golovkin fight since Saunders rejected the fight again. I give Eubank credit here, he absolutely doesn't need fight GGG next but he's running towards the fight not away, nonstop talking about Golovkin in every interview, him and his dad. Sr a bit delusional, saying he worries for Golovkins health and all that but props to them for believing they can win.

Anyways, just found this underground street fight Eubank got into with some thuggish characters he used to roll with before his dad sent him away to focus on boxing and stay out of trouble.

Joshua is obviously really good but stop fighting no names. Its time to step up, Wilder is out there for one thing if Wilder isnt gonna fight Klitsch or Fury. Really surprised Showtime is airing this fight live, bout time

It's cool it's Joshua's 17th fight they are moving him up as they feel comfortable with and so far any step up he'shad he's passed with flying colors, these big fights are coming soon, Joshua vs Wilder, Joshua vs Fury, etc.

Anyways, Thurman vs Porter! Been waiting forever it seems. Let's see how this gif will turn out:

That was dope. I scored it 114-114. Several rounds were difficult to score and could have gone either way

What is the Showtime crew saying? I'm watching UK broadcast they have Thurman by one point but they can see a draw or Porter by one.
the person scoring had Turman by a round, i still think Porter won by a round

Favorite part about the fight was that it was on cbs so I could watch it at the crib or anywhere I chose.

Paulie and Bernstein said the scoring was fair. Steve farhood scored it the same as the judges.

I'd like to see Thurman fight another champ. That leaked sparring footage made me feel like I'd already seen this fight, so I'm not that interested in a rematch but if nothing else significant can be made so be it.

I expected a little more from Thurman on the inside. Thought he'd have a better game plan to outsmart porters style, he probably needs to step up his trainer. Still porter, like Tim Bradley is built like a tank and has the durability, the hustle and will to go with it, which makes for a challenge.

I'm feeling like he could lose to Garcia and Brook at this point.

it was on CBS too!? lmao my dumb ass streamed the British broadcast cuz my Showtime channels are delayed on the west coast (faggot Comcast) so all that effort and I could have just watched on CBS
I wouldve made the same mistake if I hadn't noticed it mentioned in one of the pre-fight/ all access type promos. Watching Porter go to hot Yoga paid off I guess.

I can't lie this fight lived up too it's expectation but where does thurman and porter a rematch or thurman vs danny
PBC is hella slow at making the fights, they're talkin about Garcia vs Berto so if that's the case Thurman vs Porter II should happen next. If not, yeah Thurman vs Garcia makes the most sense and maybe Porter can fight Berto.

I had Porter winning 7-5 so i was kinda mad like the crowd. However its kinda Porters fault cause I had Porter up 7-2 at one point so to me Thurman won the last 3 rounds and those rounds are looked at heavier. Oh well. Got Em!!

Not really. Thurman landed at a higher %, and if you're going by just the eye test, Thurman did indeed rock Porter more times than he himself was rocked.

A lot of ringsiders had Porter winning. I can't understand why.

Yeah that doesn't make much sense. A draw is 6 rounds to 6 and nearly everyone scored it 7 to 5 either way or a draw. In a fight with plenty swing rounds there's no bias in scoring one one way or the other.

I thought Porter won but it was close and a real dope fight. Everyone pretty much dismissed how dope Hurd looked in crushing Molina earlier and this coming off smoking Galarza.

dope ass fight! I had it one round by Thurman. hella close rounds and the rounds porter was winning were changed by one shot from Thurman. would love to see Thurman v Garcia next. I think Thurman would smash Garcia.
