Man, not really excited about any of these cards at all. I actually can't stand Broner to the extent that I'm not even remotely excited about his fight coming up. I'm probably most interested in that banks/mitchell fight and rodriguez/commanche boy fight
Definitely a down month. I kinda like this card:

Feb. 23

At Detroit (Showtime): Devon Alexander vs. Kell Brook, 12
rounds, for Alexander's IBF welterweight title; Cornelius
"K9" Bundrage vs. Ishe Smith, 12 rounds, for Bundrage's
IBF junior middleweight title; J'Leon Love vs. Bronco
McKart, 10 rounds, junior middleweights

That was actually my first thought but then I've thought about all the times that Alexander stunk out the arena just trying to eek out a win. Brook gives me the feeling that he'll fight at range too, so I talked myself out of being excited for this fight. K9 should only fight on FNF

Alexander is a good kid but it really boils down too how a lot of his fights are pretty boring and people feel he got a couple hometown decisions.

He does fight anyone though and he's trouble for just about anyone at 147.

On that prediction thread that 206 started, I thought FNF would have a great year in terms of action fights. I like the main event tonight!

I actually like Alexander and don't mind him, but he does have a pension for being in boring fights sometimes. I think after that awful showing against Bradley who has no freaking punching power at all, I was kinda pissed. He made up for it with solid fights after that, but then again his last fight was hella boring too.

Mitchell vs. Banks Rematch is
Off, Banks Injures Thumb

By Rick Reeno

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer had advised
BoxingScene.com that Johnathon Banks broke his thumb in
training and the rematch with Seth Mitchell, scheduled as the
HBO televised co-feature on February 16th at the Boardwalk
Hall in Atlantic City - is now off.

Last November, Bansk (29-1-1, 19KOs) scored one of the
biggest upset of the year when he dropped Mitchell (25-1-1,
19KOs) three times in the second round for a TKO victory.
Mitchell exercised a rematch clause to secure the return bout.
The Atlantic City card is headlined by WBC lightweight
champion Adrien Broner, who defends the title against Gavin
Rees. Golden Boy will elevate the WBC super middleweight
eliminator, between Sakio Bika (30-5-2, 21 KOs) and Nikola
Sjekloca (25-0, 7 KOs), to the televised co-feature slot.
