Broner just isn't that good man, just accept it now don't get your hopes up like that. He beat guys at 130-135 pounds because he was so fucking big. Fights guys his own size and we see it what's happened, hell even never has been Paulie nearly beat Broner.

Anyways, Lemieux vs Golovkin would be a dope fight, explosive. I don't think Golden Boy will make it though, not now anyways.

Broner WAS a very good fighter, but ever since he was rushed to 147 and got beat the fuck up by Maidana he just hasn't been the same. He was a three time champ for a reason. I'm not trying to blame Haymon for this, but if he stayed at 140 for a lil longer he would have been more of a disciplined fighter and maybe still undefeated. This fight proved that the condition that he's in is just not allowing him to perform his best. It's pretty sad seeing such great talent go to waste because a man wants to create catchweight fights all the time

he should go with kovalev & algeiri's trainer, john david jackson. he let algieri out of the cage, he can do the same for broner. broner tries waaaay too hard to be floyd, but he can never be floyd. broner has good power, he needs to become an offensive fighter and stop trying to be cute. jackson is the best man for the job.

but broner is stupid, he doesnt think anything is wrong. floyd helping him out during training probably only makes it worse too.

Barthelemy's gas tank is way better not having to cut that weight. He used to be a first half type of fighter and would slow down towards the end of the fight. Demarco hasn't been fighting well recently, but it's a good fight to take when jumping multiple weight classes like that.

Yeah must be the weight.

Barthelemy is putting on a good show, like he said yesterday he isn't Lara and he's gonna show not all Cubans fight that way (although Lara is clearly the better fighter of the two).

Curious to see where he goes from here. Haymon has 95% of the junior welters, should be relatively easy to get a good name opponent soon.

Nah I didn't get a chance between all the boxing going on, Father's Day, then having to work in fucking Olive Branch, MS. I have it recording tonight from Univision and I'll probably watch it on Thursday when I get in town from work.

Haven't had a chance to watch the Lemeiux/N'Dam fight either. Someone uploaded the full 10 fight PPV from Canada on WBVA .. kind of pumped about watching that.

No one I'd call notable. Kind of want to see the Hussian brothers fight who were decent amateurs in Canada (although Canada's amateur system is worse than the U.S. right now which is saying something). Dierry Jean Vs. Jerry Belmontes is a good matchup, Luis Ortiz comes back on the card after getting popped for doping against your homeboy, and I think Maduma is a pretty good fighter who was a few rounds for beating Kevin Mitchell. He was winning pretty clean in his first big fight against a pretty good fighter in his hometown, was gassed towards the end and ended up getting stopped.
