Yeah def a broken jaw. Mansour punched himself out unfortunately and let him Breazale land on him over and over. He was fighting so well early on too.

Dude is 43 years old too so gotta keep that in mind.

Garcia doesn't look very big in there or very comfortable, getting pressed hard.

He's got a solid chin, should hold up til Guerrero gets tired.

Fairly even so far.

Garcia and Kahn rematch?
Yep. That's how the WBC set up this "tournament", winner of tonights match fights Khan.

It's too bad they didn't do an actual tournament with actual structure. Lots of cool fights. But if they can get the winners of Garcia-Khan vs Thurman-Porter that would be dope. And then Brook vs someone can fight that winner.

I can't wait for Spence to get in on that, he could clean up most of them cats from the looks of it. Vasquez looked pretty good as well, Sarge is a tough sombitch.

And the Welterweights march on.

Yeah I'm thinking Spence will be the best of the bunch but I'm not sure when he's going to get in the mix. Hopefully they get him a big fight by the end of the year.

I hope PBC starts picking up the pace here it seems they've been building these welterweights for a while now, Thurman vs Porter is a good start but enough of these Garcia vs Guerrero type fights (with all due respect to the ghost this should have been a meaningless fight and in no way should the vacant belt that Floyd vacated been on the line (2 vs 6 for the title makes no sense)).

Guerrero was good in the early rounds but Garcia was constantly clocking him in the 2nd half of the fight. For once i think the scorecards were about right. I had to record it as well and i was lucky it seems to even the end of the 12th round. It cut off right after that and that last 20 seconds or so was the best action of the fight

God damn no wonder he couldn't continue

Amir Mansour suffered ripped tongue that required 36 stitches, fractured jaw in TKO loss to Dominic Breazeale

.

Here in his own words on social media, Mansour explains with graphic detail the mouth injury he picked up:

“I know that many of you are wondering what happened. Around the second round, I got hit with my tongue positioned between my teeth. My mouth-piece is fitted for my upper teeth only. I bit my damn tongue almost completely in half. So then my tongue swelled up so bad, I literally couldn’t breathe, not to mention [I was] swallowing so much blood. [I had been] battling a cold, so breathing through my nose wasn’t working. I was suffocating – literally.”

Later yesterday [Sunday] Mansour confirmed, after a five hour stay in hospital, that he indeed had a fractured jaw and his tongue needed 36 stitches. It does seem gravely unfair, then, to call a fighter who suffered so much pain and injury, a quitter.
