That was a hell of a shot. Szplika's (him or Stiverne) probably the best guy he's fought so far, but they're not Povetkin. He's always dangerous with that kind of power but Povetkin can crack too and Wilder leaves himself open a lot.

That's likely going to be KO of the year right there.
Agreed. I think Povetkin is going to fuck him up but the thing about Wilder is he can stop a fight with one punch at any given time so I can't rule him out, just takes one big shot to turn it around look at Szplika, he was doing some good work in there and took some Wilder shots that didn't phase him and then bam, lights out.

Wilder hit him so hard knocked the K off his trunks lol I'd fire whoever misspelled my name

They said fury was starting shit with Carl froch after him and wilder extchange words.they had to get security out there. He's nuts lol
Fury is a madman lol can't wait for a video of this

Long history of crazy fighters in his family, shit his dad just got out of prison for gauging a man's eyeball out of his head in a bar fight, he was a bare knuckle boxer in the 80's. His cousin Hughie Fury, another giant 6'7 is a really good up and comer as well. His whole family are irish gypsy fighters, he was named after Mike Tyson of course, his cousin in Hughie Dempsey Fury, named after Jack Dempsey. Interesting family to say the least lol

And then we got Anthony Joshua on the rise too. He's already a big star in the UK. His last fight against just a decent prospect sold over 400,000 PPVs in the UK. Very impressive numbers for a prospect in a non world title fight. Add in guys like Joseph Parker, Charles Martin, Hughie Fury, etc. The division is going to get real interesting.
Did you see how much money Joshua made for that fight? Not sure how accurate this story is, but it's reporting he made around $4M against Whyte.

Anthony Joshua claims £3million from Dillian Whyte fight at The 02 | Boxing | Sport | Daily Express

ANTHONY JOSHUA has hit the jackpot before he has even fought for the world heavyweight title.

The Londoner is understood to have raked in around £3million for the seventh-round destruction of Dillian Whyte at London's O2 earlier this month.

Unbeaten Joshua recently signed a five-year deal with promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom that included a cut of the pay-per-view sales, and that has led directly to the big numbers many fighters can only dream of.

The 18,000 capacity O2 sold out within six hours for the bout against Whyte and pay-per-view sales have been described as "staggering".

Joshua, 26, is the most sought-after heavyweight in the division with the Klitschko brothers Wladimir and Vitali trying to persuade him to sign with their company K2 Promotions.

On the other side of the Atlantic, fight guru Al Haymon has been signing up British boxers like James DeGale and Lee Selby but he too lost out on Joshua, who has been with Hearn since he won the gold medal at the London Olympics.

In April, Joshua bids to extend his winning run to 16 when he fights again at London's O2 with the opponent yet to be named.

Joshua has already said he would welcome a rematch against Whyte who gave him his biggest test to date and came close to causing a shock before he was eventually KO'd.
____

That's crazy money for a guy that was facing his first real test against Whyte.

Exactly. He's a gold medalist as you know so the Brits absolutely love him, plus he's a big heavyweight something they haven't had since Lewis.

This is obviously why David Haye is trying so hard to fight him, he wants that money. I love Haye in the ring but he can fuck off. Joshua is just an up & comer and Haye is a vet. He needs to earn his way into relevance before calling out people. I also hate the fact Haye has all this amazing talent that people would kill for, to have that and be in his position and he pissed it all way preferring to be a celebrity without actually doing anything. He wasted so much time fucking around when he could have been in so many good fights. I can't stand people who take things for granted like that. Now with that said, I hope he's really serious about his comeback because he's awesome to watch and I hope he's not just looking to make one big paycheck then bounce from the sport again. Such wasted potential. He fought twice since losing to Klitschko and that was in 2011 smh

Joshua looks like a video game character. I'm curious to see if he lives up to potential. His ceiling seems higher than any of the current crop imo

I would also rank Joshua's potential higher than the other guys. We shall see I guess. Wilder will get exposed sooner or later against someone of note. Povetkin could do that, but if he becomes apprehensive due to Wilder's reach adv., he'll lose a la the Klitschko fight.

You guys need to check out last night's ShoBox. 2 big time KO's, and another dominant performance by prospects that were all supposed to be taking step ups in competition.

I never really thought much of Jarrell Miller, but with his pressure and power if he can stop looking for a KO every second he can be dangerous.
