It's really sad, his latest interview clearly shows a suicidal man.

I've suspected he's bipolar but he sound manic depressed as well, I'm fact he said as much.
Yeah man, BJS came out and said he's worried about him and doesn't think he'll make it long going how he's going. More sad than anything, dude needs help for sure.

Golovkin should just retire. The WBA orders "regular" champion to fight "super" champion Golovkin immediately and Danny Jacobs talking about he wants an "interim" fight first, wants more money. He's literally taking the Canelo strategy of asking for an extension. The sad thing is, Golovkin is the champion, Jacobs the challenger. We are seeing fucking challengers vacate lol.

Gilberto Mendoza Jr., president of the WBA, told ESPN.com that there has been discussion by the Jacobs side of a possible interim bout before facing Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs), although Golovkin does not want an interim fight. He wants to do the mandatory fight with Jacobs (32-1, 29 KOs) as soon as possible, especially because it is such an attractive fight.

Typically, a mandatory fight between a "super champion" (Golovkin in this case) and a "regular champion" (Jacobs) is a 75-25 split in the event of a purse bid with the lion's share going to the "super champion."

However, Mendoza said that Jacobs is seeking a 60-40 split (in GGG's favor).

"It has changed in some cases, but usually they are not changed," Mendoza said.

Why should Jacobs fight GGG 2-0? I mean who has GGG fought in order to be considered for a matchup with Jacobs?? He needs to earn a fight with Jacobs, like Sergio Mora did.

Side note .. crazy that Luis Ortiz signed with Matchroom. Kind of came out of left field. Hopefully that means a fight with Joshua is on the horizon though.

Stop it, bro. The same way K2 pushed the Canelo fight to a purse bid to get a 50-50 purse split, is the same shit Jacobs is doing. Actually, we don't know what Jacobs is being offered but if it is 20% or 30% then that's pretty low in this case. HBO doesn't see this ppv worthy, but to some it actually is. I personally think 40% for Jacobs sounds pretty fair. At least he never fought a welterweight in order to keep his belts.

Except he has no belt. His belt is the equivalent of an international title. It's a secondary title where someone already has the actual title for that sanctioning body.

Also,

But the sides apparently aren't getting anywhere in the negotiations. I really don't care what either of them get paid, but what I do know is that I'm sure if they'd agree to an interim fight before they actually face each other you'll be on here crying scrub to whoever GGG fights, but then defend all day top fighters avoiding him.

Keep petitioning for good fights not to happen though. You're doing the lords work.

Oh, no. You got me fucked up! Jacobs is someone I like a lot in this fight. Like, he's borderline my favorite. He's a legit 160 lbr with real power. I would love to see this fight. The only thing I'm thinking about is who will BJS fight come December or early 2017? Because that's who I think Canelo, Lemieux, and Jacobs (haymon) is gunning for before GGG gets at him. Now, Loeffler is the one that wants it to go to a bid, which means he's lowballing Jacobs. This is a business for everyone

And by the way, its a very smart move for Ortiz to sign to Matchroom. GBP, TR, and PBC wouldn't know what to do with a heavyweight like him. Povetkin and Stiverne are splitting $3.16 mill outside the US! Just imagine with a lil promo from Hearn on Ortiz in the UK could mean for him? He can beat them all and create a huge fight with Joshua in 2 years! I'm happy for him

What up Siccness boxing fam? It's been a long time. I see this place is kind of dead now. And GGG is the new IT guy even if he's scared to death of Ward or moving up. lol.. Another HBO hype job that doesn't have to prove his greatness in the ring and get's credit for knocking out cans. If you want big fights you have to pay good fighters or you have to give in to the A -sides (Canelo) terms but not in GGG case he gets a pass and will keep on getting credit for fighting bums. Hopefully Jacobs vs. GGG happens. Lomo vs. Walters is a good fight but it's a set up fight for Walters, Top Rank is still mad at Walters making him fight Lomo after a year layoff not good at all. Lol.. At Fat Dan and his hating of PBC, HBO and Fat Dan hates PBC and wants to see it fail so bad the hating they do is actually sad and funny. HBO fights have been nothing but mismatches but you don't hear a word from Fat Dan or the boxing media. I forgot PBC haters love fights like Smith/Khan vs. Canelo on PPV and GGG vs. Brooks/Wade , or the Mega fight Manny vs. Vargas on PPV etc... Thank god for Ward vs. Kov and real damn fight. I hope PBC gets a big tv deal so I can have more damn boxing. FYI PBC toe to toe Tuesday's was damn good.

Danny Garcia vs. Keith Thruman in March 2017 I'm hearing it's signed.
What is actually confirmed is Danny Garcia vs Samuel Vargas, November 12th.

People may ask who the hell Samuel Vargas is, good question, he's a guy Erroll Spence KOd a while ago. Danny Garcia being Danny Garcia. The Thurman fight if it happens would be good and PBC should have made this about two years ago but better late than never.

If the Thurman fight happens there won't be any reason to talk shit about Garcia

And Danny's last 5 fights are still better then that HBO hype job GGG whole damn resume. Now tell me I'm lying?

Difference is Garcia asks for those fights while Golovkin has to settle for the best available after Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs, Eubank turn him down.

Like this fight right here for example, Garcia literally said he wanted another tune up. That's his choice. Golovkin? Shiiiit, Canelo reneged on their deal to fight Smith, Jacobs turned him down for Mora II, Saunders flat out said no and Eubank wouldn't sign a $5m+ deal, so he took the only deal on the table. And here we go again, Golovkin right now trying to fight Danny Jacobs who is mandatory to Golovkin and Jacobs talking about wanting another fight lol.

The one thing we can say about Danny Garcia is that he is no paper champ. He wins his titles in the ring
He literally just won a vacant belt against Robert Guerrero who had no business of fighting for a title lol bad example.

I guess that's a lame shot at Golovkin since Canelo gave his belt to him rather than fight him haha. I see this is going to be a lot of fun - bigface and battle teaming up

Everybody knows GGG ain't shit. Speaking of hype job from HBO, did you see they had GGG #1 p4p? After fighting a welterweight? Chocolatito moves up in weight and wins, and he can't even get the nod. GGG=HYPE JOB

Did you hear Canelo wants to have his next fight at 157 pounds in February? I guess he's going for the Super Caneloweight belt, he's already got the lineal 155 lineal Caneloweight title and now he's going to add the lineal 157 pound belt, legendary. He's mapped out his next three fights (none including Golovkin but that's ok!).

Ah gotta love the network/promoter Fanboys! Still never understand the logic of cheering for a boxing manager or a network instead of the actual fights.

Anyways, HBO has problems and PBC have their own problems. HBOs biggest problem, by far, is budget cuts for boxing. That decreases the amount of cards and any decent sized event that requires more than a few million results in PPVs (Canelo vs Khan/Smith, Golovkin vs Lemeuix, Crawford vs Postol, etc).

PBC has had a huge list of problems, which they've recently admitted to and said they learned from their past mistakes and will make a lot of changes in 2017, so it's good to hear them admit what they were doing wasn't working well. $500 million spent on very little.

I'd like to see this change asap:

Haymon Fighter Activity in 2016:

This is unacceptable imo. So many fighters, so little of them actually fight and worse, the best rarely fight the best (frampton vs santa cruz is a good example of what they should be doing with all their fighters like thurman vs garcia etc etc) and a lot of these guys have tune-up fights which should not happen when thry fight so little. Most of the boxing world agrees they've been very underwhelmed with PBC thus far so we need to see the above change in 2017. The inactivity, especially among their biggest names needs to stop.

Starting with Garcia vs Thurman would be a big step in the right direction. But rather than following the old formula that wasn't working, they should follow that up immediately with Thurman/Garcia vs Errol Spence. The momentum they get from a big fight needs to continue on rather than letting guys sit for a year. I think if they do that they have the potential to finally bring PBC to where they originally envisioned.
