Not sure if this thread will get any traffic but I think it'd be cool to keep a running tab on odds on fights from when they are announced to when it actually happens or if you were the odds maker, what would type of odds would you place on a fight. As far as boxing, there are definitely some tough calls this month alone starting with Donaire/Rigondeaux

I'd place Donaire as a 1.5:1 favorite. Tough fight to call but I like him to knock out Rigo in the 10th round.

Good thread. It would also be great to see people put their money where there mouth is BEFORE the fight happens, instead of hearing after, "I knew so and so would win!"

I have a couple hundred on Donaire at -205. Not a huge bet but will win a hundred if Donaire wins straight up.

I never bet on sports really and boxing in particular. I also made it a point to not bet on teams I like or fighters in this case because of they lose it's major salt in the wound.

nah these are my happy losses. I was hoping Rigondeaux would win but thought Donaire would win. I'm still playing with house money, I'm still +$1,250 in my account after this loss so no biggie.

lol I know what you mean. I'm a bigger than of boxing than any one guy but I'm probably a bigger fan of money than I am of boxing lol Hard to not be at least a little upset at losing that much

I'm not a big gambler so I actually find myself cheering against my bets often. Like I had money on Martinez to beat Chavez but I was screaming in the 12th round for Chavez to knock him out lol. I get caught up too much as a fan to care too much about a little cash.

The only time I've felt terrible are robberies. I had money on Lara to beat Williams, and Abril to beat Rios and I felt like shit. I hate that feeling of being cheated. Those guys are cubans too so I definately thought they might rob rigondeaux tonight as well
