naner12 @naner12 ,

This Arlen Lopez is the truth, his power is real. He's knocking everyone out (I read he won all four of his fights prior to the Olympics by KO as well in the qualifying tournaments). Man, I hope he can go pro, could be the next great middleweight after Golovkin. The other Cuban I'm liking is Julio César La Cruz at light heavy. Erislandy Savón fights tomorrow as well.

Little bit of good news for team US, the no medal drought has ended, Nico Hernández lost to Uzbekistan's Hasanboy Dusmatov, but he secured Bronze at light flyweight, so we at min got ourselves a Bronze medqal.

We still got Shakur Stevenson to look forward to who fights on Sunday, against Robenílson Vieira de Jesus of Brazil, a fight Shakur should be able to win without too much trouble. He's the only shot left at Gold.
Nico did great man. Beating Egorov earlier was an upset and huge for him and Dusmatov is going to likely end up winning gold anyway. I know it wasn't going out a limb cause he's so good but I always thought Stevenson was our best change for gold on the men's side - still a good bit left to go for him though.

I like Lazaro Alvarez too man. He's looked much better this Olympics. I still haven't had a chance to see everything. Have to go over some fights.

He is 5-0 in his last 5 fights with 5 knockouts, that's pretty rare to see in the amateurs, at least on this level.

Anwyays, the coverage of the Olympics has been shit! It's so hard to find videos of fights, and NBC are some straight up Nazi's about viewing content on their website, why should it be this fucking hard? Even with a legit log in from Comcast, I've had my stream cut out only for a message to pop up saying I need to log in with my cable providers credentials, after already being logged it like wtf? Not even going to get into their prime time crap.

With all the technology in 2016 at our fingertips NBC decides to take us back a decade in making it so difficult to watch the games. It's a joke.

Anyways, end of rant. If you find any non-NBC related website where the fights are all posted for download or stream post it up. Bunch of fights I've missed I want to watch.

I haven't had much trouble with their website using my psvue login. Maybe I've been lucky though.

These WW semifinals are going to be so good, especially the Cissokho (FRA) Vs. Yeleussinov (KAZ) both tall guys that can move well.

2-0-Sixx @2-0-Sixx .. Savon is about to fight now if you're able to check it out.

Gold medal light flyweight fight is about to go down. If no one is watching, I hate everyone here.

I don't know how much they've talked about it but Martinez is going to be the first gold/silver medalist in boxing for Colombia ever. Whichever way this goes.

Shakur won, I think he wins next round too and will fight Michael Conlan I'm betting, that would be dope. Anyways z he wins next round automatically gets a medal.

Some suspect scoring today, Uzbekistan I think paid the AIBA lots of money lol

You didn't think Hasanboy beat Martinez? I thought he won clean.

The bantam fight between the dude from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan I thought was bad scoring.

Conlan threw his hands in the air after dominating the three-round bout only to lose both the first and third rounds from all three judges.

“AIBA are cheats. F***ing cheats. As simple as that. That’s me, I’ll never box for AIBA again. They’re cheating bastards, they’re paying everybody,” said Conlan.

“I was here to win Olympic gold. My dreams been shattered now. You know what, I’ve a big career ahead of me. And these ones (AIBA)? They’ve always been cheats. Amateur boxing stinks. From the core right to the top.

“It’s like Katie (Taylor) yesterday, No way she lost that fight. It was a close fight, but she didn’t lose. “I thought I boxed the ears off him in the first round, but they scored it against me. So I had to fight his fight, which I did, outfought him. It’s a shambles to be honest. “I’m gutted, from the bottom of my heart. I wanted to go back with a gold medal to Ireland. Now I feel I’m going back a loser. I’m not a loser, I’m a winner. Today just showed how corrupt this organisation is.” -

That sucks man. Gonna have to check them out when I get off work today. Don't know how you can rob a guy fighting for free in an event that comes around once every 4 years. How big of a piece of shit do you have to be.
Bribes. It's always bribes.

Like we always knew Roy Jones was robbed in Korea but I guess it was actually proven the judges were paid bribes and were banned from the sport for life. I didn't know that part until recently, somehow I just assumed it was never proven.

Maybe one day we'll learn these two fights were results of judges being paid off.

Right? I feel so bad for Conlan, some people say his actions and comments were unprofessional, inappropriate, etc but you put your entire life into this and perform exceptional well, clearly win the fight only to lose due to the judges and I can totally understand why he said what he did and why he says he'll never fight for the AIBA again. I hope he can be as good of a pro, I don't see why not I think he has all the tools to reach the top but sometimes it doesn't play out that way. He has Ireland behind him at least so I'm sure he can make good money in the pros, the Kazakhstan fighter probably doesn't have that luxury so it's probably a lot worse for him.
