How so? In the sense of exploring and stumbling across cool side missions, stuff like that?

I thought the when I first saw him.

Kinda sucks they aren't making any more Witcher games. This was one of, if not the best game I've ever played. The incredible amount of detail, the stories, the deep side quests, learning about all the monsters and the insane amount of lore, I've just never played anything like it. But if they can do the same with Cyberpunk 2077 then of course I'll be happy. They've raised the bar so high it's going to be hard to live up to expectations.

Interested to see how Gwent turns out. Crazy that a side game they made is becoming it's own stand-alone game. I wish I could play single player against the CPU online somewhere just for fun, even though it was easy once you got your decks filled up something about it was so fun.

yea exploring mountains on horse back, coming across bandits or hostile monsters. obviously much more polished & deeper but it gives me hope R* looks at this as the bar to aim for, in terms of quality & immersion. i'd be fine if RDR2 wasnt as big tbh this game is huge lol

you can play gwent against BB in your house from B&W, you can choose how good & what type his deck is

^ lol sucks its over i feel like after 3 it was gonna start being a big franchise in america

i just saw on reddit that the blood & wine special edition gewnt decks are being phased out of gamestop so if you go into one rn you can get them for literally a penny. dont call tho cuz technically they're supposed to throw them away but if its still on the sale floor they have to sell it to you

they're out of stock & not being repressed so will def be a collectors item

that's tight i may swoop by gamestop then.

I was thinking it would be a franchise too but honestly, they put so much into these games especially 3 and how its loosely based on the books what else could they really do? I'm OK with them focused on Cyberpunk 2077, obviously massive potential. Maybe they will revisit Witcher in a few years or so.

Just got a beta code for the standalone Gwent game. Hopefully my piece of shit computer meets the minimum requirements to play it, beta is only available for PC and xbone apparently, even though the retail game will be available on ps4 as well.

I read a lot from the closed beta it's just as fun as the in-game Gwent, just obviously a lot more challenging playing against humans.

Man idk though, not sure if I should really dive into this level of Nerdom. There are certain addictions that consume all of one's time, and this just may be one of those things for me. Most games you play for a while until you best it or get tired of it, but others consume you. Like when Red Alert came out and also Empire Earth, Age of Empires, those "games" were straight crack for me. Fire it up at 8pm on a Friday night telling yourself you'll play for an hour or two, next thing you know it's the following Tuesday and you missed school and haven't ate any food besides Doritos .
