first person racing is going to be sick

Take the 30-player ***8220;Sandy Shores Race***8221; out in Blaine County. It was Sanchez dirt bikes only, and the match host had it locked so that everyone had to race from the first-person perspective (the host can also force third-person view, or give players a choice). Through my helmet and goggles ***8211; any vehicle that necessitates a helmet includes its own custom first-person view, with the Buzzard helicopter***8217;s being perhaps the coolest ***8211; I saw two dozen riders in front of me, all kicking up dust into my face as we sped away from the starting line.

It was this looooong 6.85-mile race that really showcased the care Rockstar has put into the additions to GTA Online for the new consoles. The interior of my Cheetah (the GTA version of a Ferrari, for those unaware) was exquisitely detailed. It***8217;s nothing to rival Forza, to be fair, but for a fully open world game where you can go and do anything with 29 other players, the working gauges, textured interiors (the pebbled detail of vinyl dashboards and shiny beauty of carbon fiber do look fantastic here) make for a very convincing and highly desirable first-person experience

Heists are confirmed to be coming.

First Next-Gen GTA ONLINE Update To Bring Heist Missions To All Platforms « Nerdist

Nope, that wasn’t pigs flying. That’s Rockstar Games confirming that we’ll finally be receiving those heist missions that they promised us when Grand Theft Auto Online originally launched back in October 2013. The online heist missions will become available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One when the first GTA Online update hits for the remastered versions. No word on exactly when that may be, but anything less than the year and change that we’ve already been waiting would be better. Rockstar has been taking their time with the highly anticipated feature so that the launch will be perfect, and far less shaky than when Grand Theft Auto Online originally dropped.

We’re just a week away from the remastered release of Grand Theft Auto V, which is bringing the incredible world of Los Santos to next-gen consoles with polished and upscaled visuals, as well as a sweet Fallout/Skyrim-like first-person mode. Of course, if you forgot some of the things you can do on Grand Theft Auto Online, here’s a list of fun activities for you and your friends to partake in while ripping and running through the hills of Vinewood and beyond.

Are you excited to hear about heist missions finally making their way to the game? Make your thoughts rain into the comments below.

Yo im sure half of you have it now so I got one question. .

Can you free roam in first person online? Like can you switch views whenever online? Or is it limited to races and deathmatch?

you can switch anytime you want.

You can also play with the settings if you want so that it automatically switches from 3rd person to 1st person when you get inside of a car or vice versa, etc.

nice, definitely grabbing this in a day or two then. The FPS free-roam aspect makes it like mmo farcry in the city to me. Plus the deathmatch is probably gonna play like an actual fps as well.

maybe ill actually do missions and such online instead of being an asshole and killing everyone I see free-roaming.

Sicc Mobb

If you haven't already joined do so (PS4 of course). First person is a trip, a lot more details you can notice. Driving gonna some practice especially when there's blood and bullet holes on the windshield. But it's fun and with the PS4 Share feature and video editor, about to make some epic videos
