I saw Disco Inferno at a wrestling promotion put on by my very small college about 6 years ago. He was there with NWO Sting, Dink and Doink, and Buff Bagwell. . .

Suffice it to say, going from the top back to the very bottom wasn't the most entertaining thing to watch, then Bagwell and I almost exchanged fists after some low shit he did to a kid. I was a Buff the Stuff fan as a kid, but he had lost me forever as a fan after that night.

Dink and Doink were cool, though. NWO Sting kept telling everyone he was the real Sting.

Cool story, bro.

Goldberg was never a great worker, and he became a good performer eventually. But damn he was green as hell in this match. Probably didn't help being in there with Bill DeMott (Hugh Morrus) either. That guy couldn't work his was out of the lower card in WCW. That's saying a lot right there considering all of the scrubs they had in WCW.

Personally I think Bill DeMott is very underrated and a great wrestler. Also, WWE wouldn't have chosen him for Tough Enough if he wasn't.

Regarding Chris Hero being signed by WWE, officials wanted to sign him a few months back when they signed his partner Claudio Castagnoli to FCW. Hero was going through the physical screening process. It's believed that either WWE found something they wanted to take their time on double checking to make sure he's fit to sign, or they stalled in contract negotiations. Hero hasn't gone back to work for NOAH or ROH yet so it's still possible he will pop up in FCW soon.

NoDQ.com > WWE > 1980's Wrestler Suing WWE & The McMahons
Posted by Steve Carrier on 12/08/2011 at 10:26 AM

- 80's wrestler "Pretty Boy" Doug Somers has filed suit against WWE and the McMahons over claims that he is owed royalties for WWE using his name and likeness. Somers' suit names WWE's DVD on Shawn Michaels' career and the Greatest Cage Matches of All-Time DVD.

Somers says that WWE failed to contact him and ask permission to use his name and likeness, and never made any attempt to compensate him. The lawsuit also states that Somers' health is suffering from his pro wrestling career where he claims to have suffered more than 400 concussions, broken bones and inoperable injuries to his neck, foot, back and knee.

Somers and his partner Playboy Buddy Rose had their feud with Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannety from the AWA promotion featured on several WWE DVD's and WWE Classics On Demand.

Just watched Impact Wrestling tonight. I have never been more bored and/or felt more awkward watching wrestling. Makes me realize (even tough i already knew) how much better WWE is than TNA. Everything from how loud they mic the damn ring to their stupid commercials. RVD goes a 2 out of 10 speed in his matches, Roode is a stud but doesn't need Bubba Ray Dudley as his wingman, and they had the stupidest lay out for their program. Not impressed one bit

Is it just me or the wrestlers getting smaller or is the WWE billing everyone at a lighter weight?
