^^^yup that was the shit. i was 6 at the time and i remember watching that entire summerslam with the blurry static (like watching porn on spice ya know?) cause my parents werent about to actually pay for the ppv for me.

blurry and all when virgil won it gave me the same type of happy feeling like when obama became president, and when oj was announced "not guilty"...the white man cant win them all

I always liked Virgil and hated Ted DiBiase. I was happy when that happened.

By the way, that picture was taken when they were setting up at some convention, fans weren't allowed inside yet. There's a follow up picture where there a lot of people there to see him... It was just taken and posted because it looked funny.
