SEAHAWKS!!!
sidenote: Last week at that Verellen Amplifier show I bought a Narrows shirt from Dave, I was fucking shaking and super nervous. It was probably also due to the fact that the last time we met back in Jan at El Corazon. I got blacked out and I'm almost positive I acted like a retard, to him and Brian. I'm kind of glad I don't remember that night...
FUCK!!! I met Ben Verellen tonight. Of course I was wearing a Verellen Amplifier t-shirt so he saw me got excited and said he loved that I was wearing the shirt. I was caught off guard, panicked and told him I loved him then walked off. I tried to make up for later in the night, but instead I insulted him and acted like a even bigger idiot. Worst part is I was stone sober, I have no excuse. Meh, he was still super nice and told me he was really glad to meet me.

Those god damn Verellen brothers, have me all star struck and acting like a retard even though they're both just regular guys that hardly anybody outside of the Seattle music scene people have even heard of.

Sorry, this has nothing to do with anything, just had to vent somewhere.

This album is really good and has been getting a lot of play from me lately. ORO can vouch for it. It's ex-members of The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower and Some Girls which were both great bands but this music sounds nothing like their old stuff. Think an updated version of The Jesus and Mary Chain or a still somewhat poppy but much noiser version of Echo & the Bunnymen. Great stuff.

I didn't link their myspace like I usualyl do for people to check out their stuff because it tried to give me a trojan virus so here is a video.

And I agree that Soft Powers album is great. I downloaded it a little while back and finally listened to it after Elemenno posted it in here.

Not exactly like them but some artists that are somewhat similar that you guys might like are:

Coyote Clean Up
Wild Nothing
Monster Rally
Pearl Harbor (now known as Puro Instinct)
Blue Hawaii
