dunno i got a pioneer premier head unit, a jl audio amp and some jl audio subs, im new to all the shit so i dont have a preference but jl's amps seem to be pretty high quality and the subs are too. the headunit is coo i like it cause i can use a usb flashdrive with a bunch of mp3s in it just plug it in, and it has high pass filters and a good eq and all that shit. my amp is a 500/1 so it pulls 500 watts rms but seems like it puts out way more than that

When I had a system, I had a Pioneer deck, an 1100w Memphis Audio amp, and two 12" Digital Aduio subwoofers. Before that set of subwoofers, I had two 12" Kicker Solo Baric. I bumped those too hard with a bass c.d., and one of the speakers blew, I was pissed, because at the time, I knew they stopped making those kind of Solo Baric's I had. Now they're square, instead of circle.

Right now, I just have stock shit, and it sucks. lol I miss bumpin. Especially that old Three 6 shit.

Kicker solo barics, JL audio for amps(I will never buy another brand of amp), Alpine for the head unit(always).

JL sits on top of my list for quality.

I've always liked California amps (first amp i've ever bought), i've heard they're good for the money. I've also had a kicker impulse amp that sounded really great. For subs I usually like to pay little more but right now i just bought a couple 10 inch MTX thunder 6000's and running them off a california msx. for head units i just get a cheap pioneer or alpine and not really worry about it.

I also had some JL 6x9's that were seriously ridiculous and some 5 1/4's up front. I think they were VR's but the 6x9's would rattle my trunk themselves with a JL 300/4 pushing them and the 5 1/4's.

Whatever brand you look at, make sure that it is ASTM/SEI approved. This means that the helmet has been extensively tested to make sure it meets specific standards in safety.

Troxel is the cheap end of helmets, but their company policy is to make only ASTM approved helmets, so they are a good cheap brand, but they aren't very pretty.
