But then they never make a follow-up? I was going through a lot of my CDs recently making a list of what I have and I noticed that a lot of CDs were titled "Vol. 1" but then years later they've released several albums but no "Vol. 2". Why not just leave the album title as it is and then if you release a follow-up album with the same title then call that one "Vol. 2"?
I think it just shows that some people have no attention span. They think, "Oh shit, I'm about to release several albums in a series and I'll start with Vol. 1" but then never follow through. I'm thinking of doing a Jay & Silent Bob type thing and going up to each rapper's house with the Vol. 1 CD in hand and asking what the fuck ever happened to Vol. 2 you lazy A.D.H.D. mother fucker and then round-house kick them in the face. And then I'll get shot.
