crazy that all the rappers we grew up with are dying. 3 6 mafia was a big part of high school for me. This was a time where you could buy cd's based on the cover alone and know it would be tight. Me and my homie always used to see the mytsic styles and live by yo rep ads in the source so we said f it and bought it and were blown away.

Thanks Rasan @Rasan ! Downloading now. One of my dad's good friends worked for Relativity records in the 90's and used to send me boxes of samplers to hand out to kids at school. It's what got me into three-6 and the beatnuts. Still two of my favorite groups.

I remember seeing the ads for mystic styles and live by to rep but never gave three six any thought until the end cd and I bought that just off the strength of the album cover and the first two voices I heard on the CD were scarecrow and koops and I was hooked. Crow and koopsta to me were the best out of the group and it just wasn't the same after they left.
