theres no one answer but it might have to do with the fact he decided to hang more with SUC than with Ugk, i like his sound better with Ugk. Furthermore, his first album is classic IMO cause he used different styles with his voice and shit. That Governor album is bunk cause he flatten out this flows and shit while not having tight production like he had with Mike Dean on Rap a lot. He still tight but he needs some tighter producers.

The Wicked Buddah Baby was average at best, pretty boring actually, but had a few great tracks

I got both of the Black Monks albums. I just never really liked dudes shit. He came cool on One Day by UGK thats it.

3-2 use to be tight in Convicts and Blac Monks. He changed his style is declined.
