Quality, confidence, and consistency.

I look for consistency and originality. Proven high quality level of music overtime that sounds different than everyone else. Unfortunately I feel this has been harder and harder to find over the last decade.

-Has at least 3 homies who can't rap that he crowbars into half his songs
-Pays for features with artists from other regions, but won't colaborate with local acts

(In regards to rappers)
Not that I'm condoning certain behaviors (in the streets you just do what you gotta do you feel me) but I believe a rap artist should actually do the sh*t they rap about.

It used to be a prerequisite for the game but now it seems to be optional...

Almost like most the rap / rappers of today left the "real" part at the front door...
