90% of people from LA and the Gay Area that I know who moved to Sac are soft and they learned the hard way when they underestimated Sactown. people from back east and midwest usually have a similar perception of places in la. don't know how many times i've heard or read that a particular park or street in south la "looks normal" or "just like the suburbs."
