Dear J-Stalin,

----------Stop singing on every track!

Sincerely,
Everybody

P.S. Memoirs Of A R&B Singer doesn't compare to the mixtape Im Sellin Dope.

Forreal tho, huge let down hearing this after Prenuptial Agreement. I want my $10 back for this frisbee!

I thought it was pretty clean, there were a lot of love songs but you have to have a well balanced selection of cuts for an album to be successful. The production was nice and stalin's lyrics were on point. I never really heard prenuptial agreement so I cant really speak on that, On behalf of the streets is still one of my all time favorite bay area albums though. this one has more mainstream appeal to it but there's plenty of slappables on this.

I was feeling Curb Servin, The Molly Song, and Who Are U. There were hardly any standout tracks. A lot of the production sounded similar and Stalin had the same exact flow on almost every track. Too many singers. Too many features (26 credited features on 20 tracks; damn near a compilation album). Stalin still has it in him; I just wasn't feelin' this album.

Well as an album, this stands out more than Philthy's Kill Zone IMO. Money & Bitches, Tryna Get On & Pigeon Coup are allright. Nothing to take home about. (L' Jay ain't a bad singer, but wtf @ the hook on Pigeon Coup" Got fiends on the corner suckin' that dick....dick" ). Come Out To Play allright but might be the most skippable for me. Most of this goes. It's his most polished work and organized well, but I don't think it's quite as raw as Prenuptial Agreement in some ways, but it's a solid follow-up none-theless. There's like 6 joints on here for the bitches but they do balance it out.

Especially that joint with KRIT. goes....I could see some crossover potential with that if them niggaz link up and filmed a video for it

3.5/5

Album is decent, of course there are a bunch of garbage tracks but overall they put this one together better then his last couple releases. His best release since the Prenuptial Agreement
