I had a hunch that Snow would've been approached initially... interesting she stuck on her own path although Atlantic is a major label which could see her have more exposure in future.

We've known this about Snow for years. If I recall correctly, someone (Travis?) tried getting Tech to check out Snow early on, but he procrastinated and when he finally checked her and found out she was dope, she already had a deal in the works.
