I agree... releasing a video for a song that's off an album you released 7 months ago is kinda like an after thought.

I don't like the song but the video is nice. Glad its getting a lot of plays on MTV Jams.

You say that, but other artists and labels will promote an album upwards of 2 years after it was released. It's kind of funny how the opinion has changed. Back in the day, fans would complain because they would drop one video right around the release date and then never release anything else. "You should put more promotion into the album, promote it longer, etc." Now, they drop a video 7 months after the albums and it's all "What's this nonsense? That album was sooo 7 months ago! On to the next one!"

It would have been different if there was another single or video they were promoting but it's like "Hey remember that album that's almost a year old? Here's the first single and we took out 20 minutes out of our day to film ourselves standing around in an abandoned warehouse rapping to the song."

I KNEW I recognized the name MadisonKaine somewhere... Talking to Lejo about some type of work. Should probably have put this in OT but oh well.

After killing the Grammys and being snubbed, the outpouring of support and attention toward Kendrick is at an all time high....this is the perfect time to release this video...unless it dropped a week after Control hit

the Performance Cut video made alot more sense to me then the Directors Cut, which I feel they could've adapted a better concept story-wise to coincide with the songs depth.

a little too corny IMO.
