Celebrity deaths that shook me= owen hart, mj, jacka, and now prince..rip to one of the greatest musicians ever
Me and the bruddah T-Spoon @T-Spoon were saying the same thing. The 80's was a great time for music. I remember my pops used to slap his 1999 and purple rain album on the reel to reel. even had a bootleg copy of purple rain on VHS. he was prolific musician and has thousands of songs unreleased.
My dad told me a story of prince being in a bar in san diego, with no security. some groupies approached him and prince said, "Help! somebody get these bitches away from me!" LOL!

Prince's Vault Reportedly Drilled Open - ABC News

That's a ton of music. Apparently it's music he wanted released after his death so it's not just a bunch of throwaway projects. Hopefully when they release it they do right and selective, and not some random BS Prince featuring Pitbull on every song fuck that would be awful

Unsure when this was filmed, but it is Kevin Smith Pre-Weed habit, and he talks about requesting to use a Prince song in one of his movies that led to a documentary being shot and never used. Also went on to say that Princes producer says theres over 50 music videos that were just filmed and then locked up in that vault.

OT: Kevin Smith way more interesting before he started smoking weed and became a cartoon character.

Yeah Prince was pretty fucking eccentric to say the least. Very strong belief in ownership in his music and all that, but he was a trip he would call torrent site website owners directly on their cellphones and talk to them for 1-2 hours at a time. Normally artists have their lawyers or whatever handle that shit prince did some weird shit, also knocked door to door as a Jevoha Witness imagine that, opening the door and its fucking Prince wearing some purple 1700s outfit trying to talk to you about god lol

Sometimes he had a good sense of humor, a single he released a few years ago had Dave Chappelle on the cover, I guess they became friends after the infamous skit

I saw this vid last year and it's comedy. Also, the vid has a lot of business game if you really peep it out.

at this point it depends on his family. I hope they dont whore out his music like that. However, i think it would be dope if they made a prince video game like guitar hero and it came with a guitar shaped like the prince symbol.
they should also look into making custom guitars, turn his mansion into a tourist attraction and start licensing his music to movies and commercials. let the legacy live on. put his movies on netflix.
Dude was changing up attorneys and assistants every month. super paranoid.

he was prolific musician

real shit. he's underrated as a producer and instrumentalist to most of the world. in the era of him, Madonna, and Michael Jackson, Prince is the only one who really didn't need help to compete with the big dogs.

"In advance of each session, he used a little hand-held cassette recorder to hum the bass, guitar, keyboard and synth-produced horn parts, and he also mouthed the beats,” says Z. "I set up a station for each instrument and, using the cassette machine to remind himself what to do, Prince played every single part. It was amazing to me, because that's pretty hard to do while retaining your objectivity. However, right from the start he was great; the complete package from the first minute I heard him. He did nothing but eat, sleep and make music"

"Indeed, titled For You, Prince's debut album would not only be produced and arranged by him, but it would also feature his own compositions, as well as his playing of all 27 instruments."
