You tell your son the truth. That ANY TIME he is pulled over or approached by police that he might not survive the ordeal. You tell him that complying may limit the chances of death by some made up number but, ultimately, that his life is in danger no matter what.

I tell him that whenever he does have a run-in with the law, dont give them an attitude even if you really wasnt doin anything, dont lie and to just do exactly what they say and you just might make it off with just a ticket if that.

Unless its a rookie cop then all bets are off.
