Howard stern off the air Nov. 7th

Yeah I was hearing this when I was listening earlier this morning. So they aren't pulling it off the air for this area? I think the official date of the removal is like December 30th for every where...and then he starts back up on Sirius on January 6th or some shit like that. But I'd be pissed if he was gone on Nov. 7th. I gotta hour long commute to sit through and listening to Stern in the morning makes it a helluva lot more enjoyable.

I'm getting Sirius before he switches over... I heard you can listen online too, so I really just need it in my car, I can listen online at home and work...

He is going to be going off air before Dec. 30th. If I remember right I think it is Dec. 16th or somewhere around there. The first Sirius show is on Jan. 6th I believe. A few markets will be losing Howard Stern before he goes off air though.

I got my Sirius already and have had it for about 2 months. It is 1000x's better than regular radio.

I know Howard is getting like 4-5 stations to do whatever he wants with.

He is being payed 500 million dollars for his 5 year contract with Sirius.

I got Sirius and like everyone else said its 100 time s better than regular radio. They can do pretty much whatever the fuck they want on there.

man dont even compare satellite radio with normal shitty ass radio!...satellite is just on its own level...if you got a luv for music and you dont got satellite then you really are missing out..

with Sirius any good rap stations? Any play any cali songs??

They only have a couple rap stations and I think they just play shit like Pac, Dre, etc. One is rap, one is old school, one is "today's hits" (rap/r&b, I think like KMEL and shit.)

If you go to www.sirius.com I saw they had a free 3-day trial version and you can listen online...
