Really? What's with this consistant shit now a days? That's what's killing everything. Artist are too busy trying to stay consistant and putting out garbage after garbage albums, mixtapes, singles etc. Quik comes from an era where artist evolved each album and stayed tight. Now, he's wrong because he's not consistant enough? Perhaps he's working on something different to enhance the game.
But!!!! I get what Quik is saying. In sense we are in a time where something new comes out and we lie to ourselves that it's "pretty good," and justify it by telling ourselves, "It's a new era and it's new music."
