The guy lived and only spent 2 days in the hospital. I thought for sure he would be dead. Quite the effective move by the officer since nobody was killed.

That's hella funny how the guy that was on the scene first is telling the other officer to stay back and he totally ignored it.
i think he was talking to the car that was approaching from the other direction

That pig obviously didn't mean to do that lol. I read that it was Tucson but really in Marana, its outside of Tucson and not far from me. 20-30 minutes away. That town is hella booming tho too, which means more crime.

Cop helping in drug ring released on bail. 132lbs of cocaine seen transferred. Actively working against the FBI.

YUBA CITY - A police officer is facing federal charges after being arrested in connection with a cocaine trafficking operation. Harminder Phagura, 35, a Yuba City Police officer, was taken into custody Wednesday morning by federal agents.

A second man, Gursharan Phagura, 39, was also arrested. The criminal complaint accuses both men of conspiring to possess a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and use of a communication facility in narcotics trafficking activity.

Officers searched three locations, two in Yuba City and one in Roseville, all three homes were places the suspects lived or spent time.

A federal complaint alleges Harminder Phagura used police equipment, while on duty, to protect his cousin Gursharan Phagura, as he conducted what he thought were real cocaine deals.

"Gursharan Phagura would enlist the help of Harminder Phagura in providing sort of cover, that is monitoring police frequencies to see if there were any other law enforcement, trying to find out if there was any law enforcement surveillance going on," U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District Benjamin Wagner said.

The complaint alleges Harminder Phagura started helping his cousin in March 2014. According to the federal affadavit, in July 2014 during a deal set up by an informant, both men showed up in their own cars, Harminder Phagura in his police cruiser near the Yuba City police station. At one point, one of them texted, "the weather looks clear," allegedly to say their were no federal agents in the area.

FBI can’t cut Internet and pose as cable guy to search property, judge says

A federal judge issued a stern rebuke Friday to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's method for breaking up an illegal online betting ring. The Las Vegas court frowned on the FBI's ruse of disconnecting Internet access to $25,000-per-night villas at Caesar's Palace Hotel and Casino. FBI agents posed as the cable guy and secretly searched the premises.

The government claimed the search was legal because the suspects invited the agents into the room to fix the Internet. US District Judge Andrew P. Gordon wasn't buying it. He ruled that if the government could get away with such tactics like those they used to nab gambling kingpin Paul Phua and some of his associates, then the government would have carte blanche power to search just about any property.

"Permitting the government to create the need for the occupant to invite a third party into his or her home would effectively allow the government to conduct warrantless searches of the vast majority of residents and hotel rooms in America," Gordon wrote in throwing out evidence the agents collected. "Authorities would need only to disrupt phone, Internet, cable, or other 'non-essential' service and then pose as technicians to gain warrantless entry to the vast majority of homes, hotel rooms, and similarly protected premises across America."

The government had urged the court to uphold the search, arguing that it employs "ruses every day in its undercover operations." The government noted that US judges have previously upheld government ruses to gain access into dwellings.

In 1966, the Supreme Court authorized an agent to pose as a drug buyer to get consent to go inside a house. In 1980, an agent posing as a drug dealer's chauffeur was upheld. Seven years later, agents posed as real estate investors to access a bedroom and closet of a suspect. And in 1989, an agent posed as a UPS delivery man to get inside a drug house, the government argued.

But operatives posing as gas company or water district workers seeking permission to enter the premises to check for leaks were deemed illegal searches. That's because the occupants provided "involuntary" consent to enter because they were duped into believing a life-threatening emergency was afoot, Phua's defense pointed out.

In the Phua case, the FBI and a Nevada gaming official clandestinely filmed the rooms while building a case that ultimately accused Phua, his son, and others of running a World Cup soccer bookmaking ring where "hundreds of millions of dollars in illegal bets" were taking place. The investigation started last summer when Caesars Palace staff got suspicious that the men were ordering a substantial amount of electronic gear and Internet connections.

Did you guys hear about the 64 year old man being killed in his driveway by police? It happened in 2014 and in the same state where the cop shot the guy in the back and killed him. In fact, on that same date the cop was arrested. The grand jury decided not to hit him with murder but some other bullshit. They have a video of it too but won't release it.

Just google Ernest Satterwhite.
