Nick Cannon is a fucking idiot. Dude has 5 million Twitter followers and hosts one of the biggest shows on TV and can't get more than 100 retweets for the stupid ignorant shit he tweets. Not that tweets matter but it just goes to show how out of touch he is. Always talks shit about Planned Parenthood saying it's genocide for the black people and repeats all these pro life lies. Like PP of all things is ruining the black community.

I think Nick had an awakening several months ago. Dude is becoming/became conscious brotha. I really think NBC had a problem with it because he made a joke using their name. Had he left the name "NBC" out of his comedy special, he would be fine. Even still, he signed a contract that stipultaes he has to represent NBC a certain way and if he does not, the contract can be terminated. I think his pride was hurt when they gave him a warning. But like what was mentioned in this thread, he was the one who made it public. NBC is just defending their stance at this point. I think he jumped the gun by quitting. They probably came at him cool too. He's just on his tinfoil head shit and is super militant lol which there is nothing wrong with that at all. more power to him. I hope he influences change in San Diego and more communities out there. Would be dope to see him do that.

If you are pro life, then you will definitely feel that way. PP is about STI prevention and abortion. My gf, who is pregnant, was in between insurance. She found a non-profit group who are like the opposite of PP. They promote keeping the baby. So again, I can see why people think PP is hurting the black community. But thats just a fraction of the issues we as a people have. It will take us 400 plus years to undo the damage of slavery, lies about our ancestry, family dynamic issues, media/social programming and engineering etc. However, PP has been known in tinfoil head circles as a way of population control across the board.
StillHustlin @StillHustlin If they get Ryan Seacrest to replace him, they will GAIN viewership. Nick may have did AGT a favor if they land Seacrest lol

Respectfully Rasan, how is there nothing wrong with having a tinfoil hat on? The tinfoil hat people are constantly spewing lies and confusing people who don't know better. If he's becoming more conscious and militant I respect that but he should educate himself first before he goes that route.

If you are pro life, then you will definitely feel that way. PP is about STI prevention and abortion.
You left out probably the most important thing PP offers: birth control. PP would much rather have people on birth control and never have to perform an abortion. Abortion is a service they offer, they don't promote it or encourage it. They educate/consult the patients prior to an abortion so they are informed and can make the decision on their own.

My gf, who is pregnant, was in between insurance. She found a non-profit group who are like the opposite of PP. They promote keeping the baby. So again, I can see why people think PP is hurting the black community.
Like I said above, PP is not promoting abortion, it's a service they offer, and they don't push it on people. If your girl would have walked into PP and said "I am pregnant, and I want to keep the baby" they would have given her whatever health services they offer that she needed and if she needed services they couldn't provide they would have told her where she could go to get those services. They wouldn't have pushed abortion on her like a used car salesman.

There's a ton of misinformation out there about PP, so I don't blame you for having a false sense of what they do. I just feel the need to educate when I do.

I am glad that your girl found a place that she was comfortable with and it's good that other choices exist, but just know that pro-life people can go to PP too and receive their health services without getting a "pro-abortion" agenda pushed on them. Congratulations on the baby on the way, and I wish you guys the best of luck.

True, but Nick Cannon made it specifically about PP trying to end black people, which is why I took issue with it. He just regurgitated to his followers something he read on the internet as facts. People with his social status need to be especially careful about what they tell people to make sure they aren't misinforming.

The foundation of Nick Cannon's abortion argument is that the founder of PP wanted to control the population of black people. However, that is in fact far from the truth:

http://www.npr.org/sections/itsallp...thood-started-to-control-the-black-population

I pretty much agree with everything you said man, I just posted from Nick's POV. There's nothing wrong with being a tinfoil head, as long as you know have the ability to check the facts, because regardless if you have the facts on certain controversial issues, you will be labeled a tinfoil head, trust me, I know. But as you know, there is a lot of misinformation out there, which I think is done intentionally to make people look like loons. There was a big myth that Michael Jordan owned stock in prisons. However, research shows its some white dude named Michael Jordan who owns stock in prisons. Yet, people don't want to believe it.

Me personally, I like to soak up all the conspiracy theories, fact check them, and come to my own conclusions.

And you are right, I forgot to add that PP also endorses and encourages birth control. But based on my own personal experiences, no they don't push abortion on you, but there sure isn't a lot of talk about keeping the baby. The place my gf went to was super christian tho bro, they even prayed for us ha ha. So that's a big difference. Nick has been a pro life supporter for years.

And thanks. We think we having a boy. I plan on playing the audio version of behold a pale horse when he is born so he can soak that in.

This happened to Chapelle as well, with a much less mainstream entity.
A little different though. Because with Chappelle it was more of an internal struggle with what he was doing and the content of his show versus censorship. What Pryor was doing would be considered crazy for today's TV I can't imagine what execs were thinking back in the late 70s. They did both go to Africa though after, Chappelle obviously knew that about Richard Pryor.

Fact Check: Was Planned Parenthood Started To 'Control' The Black Population? : It's All Politics : NPR

They do talk about keeping the baby, in fact they will go over it several times at different points before having an abortion, making it perfectly clear to the person there are other options. I know that from personal experience as well. The difference is they don't shame people for choosing to have an abortion, or make them feel guilty or make them feel like they are making a bad decision. I'm sure Christian based alternatives will not do that, obviously, and have and do make people feel guilty for choosing to have an abortion.

It really pisses me off at how bad of a rap PP gets (not directed at you right now, just in general like Nick Cannon and many others). Abortion is just one service they provide, pap tests, birth control, pregnancy tests, Cervical Cancer, Breast cancer screening, UTI, Menstruation issues, Menopause, and so many other services they provide and probably most of all education. And it's all affordable.

Planned Parenthood is amazing. Obviously any genocide tinfoil hat stuff is straight up ridiculous and you can't really argue with crazy. But all the other misinformation out there does a great disservice to society. Under Bush, they got hit hard by budget cuts and had to close down a lot of clinics, clinics that are no longer available to rural areas for example where the nearest clinic may be hundreds of miles away. This increases unwanted pregnancies, not only because people no longer have access to abortions but because they aren't getting birth control or the education that would have previously been available. Now with Trump, it could get much worse.

It's beneficial for society to fight that and Trumps policies. Cutting more funding and closing more planned parenthoods, or even worse, can be disastrous.

Did you watch your clips? Or just read clickbait video titles and decide to add them an hour after your post? lol

1st clip Bill Maher cracked a joke actually supporting the conservative rhetoric about Israel controlling the State Department, when they shouldn't be.

2nd clip Bill Maher didn't bring up or defend Israel in any way shape or form.

3rd clip Bill Maher stated the obvious. He said if Quebec shot 10,000 rockets into the United States obviously America would have a problem. Palestine shoots 10,000 rockets into Israel, obviously Israel has a problem. He didn't defend Israel lol

You label a former catholic current atheist a zionist jew, you support it with 3 2 minute youtube clips with clickbait titles lol come on man.

From now on when I go off on right wing rednecks in support of Muslims I'm gonna make sure they all label me (a Native American/White agnostic) a Muslim lol

You can watch countless clips of Maher's show where he is supporting Israel and/ or degrading Muslims. Also, he basically got owned by all three of those guests, and had no ammo. He knows the hand that feeds him. We don't have to agree though. I see what you are doing. The point is he got away with what he said. The network said they don't support his comment, but they are just going to edit it out of rebroadcasts, what a severe punishment. That should set him straight, until the next time.

And lol at not knowing he was part Jewish - mom Julie Berman; always down playing his roots

you people and your subtle naivety?

Catholicism, first five books is the Torah....... where does that come from again?

Enough of the semantics though, we can argue apple orange apple forever and a day

lol when you read he was part Jewish from his wiki page you would have also saw the fact he didn't even know he was part Jewish until he was a teenager and it's through his mom's family in Hungary. Clearly his mom wasn't a practicing Jew and he was raised Roman Catholic.

Bill Maher has hammered the Jewish religion just as hard as any other religion. He made a well known documentary hammering all religion.

Bill Maher didn't get punished by HBO because if you really think Bill Maher is a racist against black people you're a special kind of stupid (not aiming that comment at you).

You posted this comment in the Nick Cannon thread as a comparison to Nick Cannon, which it clearly isn't. NBC literally had zero comment on Nick Cannon and laid out zero punishment. Even Bill Maher's sentence being edited out is a bigger punishment Nick Cannon had lol Nick Cannon created that controversy, not NBC.

If people want Bill Maher to be fired or suspended, then just about any white comedian shouldn't ever get work again. Louis CK has said nigger on every one of his comedy specials. Bill Burr and Jim Norton are also comedians that come to mind that have said it on comedy specials. None of which are racists, all of which used the word nigger in a joke as did Bill Maher. Why is Bill Maher singled out, but other comedians aren't?
