this is true.
i saw a shit load of tvs last year the day after black friday in the walmart returns section.
but i fucks with black friday, you just gotta sift thru all the ads to find the great deal.

There's good deals to be had but I agree with you, gotta do your research in more than just the ads. Look around online at specific parts numbers if it's electronics and compare ratings/price.

Also, don't forget to price match stuff. I went to 2 Walmarts last year around tax time for the TV they had on special but they had been sold out as soon as the ad dropped. Went to Target and they had the same TV and price matched it no problem.
