STEREOTYPE is a tough, honest and unflinching look at modern urban life. Henry Reyes Jr. (Junebug Slim) is a Latino American kid and has a dream of being a rap star. Henry doesn't have a job and still lives at home with his grandmother and half brother Alex. Life is a daily fight for Henry between hanging out with his no good hood friends and the music that drives him to succeed. He finds himself in a series of events involving the death of his best friend and going to jail for a crime he didn't commit. Upon getting released from jail, Henry is placed on house arrest and is forced to find a job and deal with the harsh reality of surviving as a man trapped in the hood.
