I like the work flow on the motif...

do you know is there away to save individual tracks as midi, then I can dump them into ableton and assign vst's to the midi patterns?

sonically im feeling some of the plug in vst's I have more, but like setting up drafts of the beat on the motif?

I've searched google and saw some vague answers....

hard part is finding a program that can convert midi 0 to midi 1 that is "free"

^ I did find it... I was able to convert the midi 00 file to midi 01 with a free program called anvil studio: http://www.anvilstudio.com/

from there I could take any beat I made in my motif, and dump onto any daw, and assign VST's to them. Basically I was using my motif to make the fluid beats, but not use any of the 'motif' sounds ( I was starting to think they where dated or over used)

since then I sold my motif and got a midi controller. Its nice being more portable, but I miss the keyboard, it was a great piece of kit.
