It's beastly. FL Studio and my VST plugins are FLYING on it. It's amazing how instant it responds.

Sounds pretty good. It's your 8 gigs of ddr3 RAM thats killin cause there's not much software that uses quad-core processors except newer games. Make sure yo shit got good cooling tho man cause wit all that it'll produce a lot of heat.

Sure it's got 8 gigs of ram that I will probably never fully utilize, but what the heck, it's there if I do ever need it. Atleast it has a lot of headroom.

This PC is certainly future proof. It's insanely fast compared to my other PC and that's all that matters to me.

I don't think anything is future proof really, in a year you'll be itchin to buy the million core 500000 gig ram computer, because, it will knock your computers socks off. But, you gotta do what you gotta do. I bought my macbook when there was no firewire port on it, and now the newer newer ones have it, and i feel dumb.

I don't think I'd buy one in a year. I'm really not like that. I don't buy shit just because it's new. It took me close to 5 years to buy a new one. My old rig is a Pentium 4 3.2GHz, 1GB Ram. Sllllllllooooooooooooooow compared to this new, but I still liked it.

His current setup will probably last for several years.
