what happened to penny hardaway to make him fall off like he has for the last few yrs

Injuries. That can riddle a mans career reguardless his talent, just look at Grant Hill. Hardaway played the entire season last year, he played about 30 minutes a game, a decent season. Before that, the last season he played healthy was the 50 game season during the lockout. From 1997 to 2001 he played in 130 games. He received his reputation for being a great player from 93-97 which he played the first 3 seasons healthy. I think 1997 was his first injury, hes never been the same. Up untill the injury he was averaging 20ppg 7ast 4rpg. IMO he is still a good player, if he can stay healthy and start playing atleast 35 minutes a game, he will start puting up the same numbers as he once did.

yeah, Penny's been solid this season. Last season he fuckin sucked. But hes puttin up decent numbers this season.
