I like the move to keep Doug for sure and the money seems fair considering his production last season....I just wish we would have let Kearse go haha.
Im good either way with Kearse...but he is clutch as fuck. He came back to us because he didnt get enough bites.

Kasen up next...just wait.

I actually really like our WR corp...lots of guys who have something to prove and have, thus far. Its too bad PR is made of glass...imagine having him and Lockett on the field at the same time. Match-up nightmare for just about every 2ndary in the league.

Yeah I totally agree about our WR corp I think that although they are basically no-names we are solid and deep. That's why I would have preferred to spend the Kearse money elsewhere.

Jackson was attempting to get a public defender for his recent case citing he has nothing but a 100,000 car. Judge denied request lololol.
That's just sad. He's been probably taking care of family members he didn't even know he had until he got into the NFL.

Apparently his wife said something after he got his gun out like "I hope you're more accurate than you are on the field" lol that's cold

Yea I said the wife bit a couple posts back actually, shit is fucking hilarious lol. It said over his 10 year career he's made 12 mil. Not great by NFL standards but by no means is that poor either, but than again with purchases of hundred thousand dollar cars I can see where it went

Hard to feel sorry for the guy. I mean, after all this time you couldn't put at least a couple hundred thousand away? Especially after 9-10 seasons you'd think he'd realize he doesn't have much time left and he's never going to be a starting QB again making big money... you'd think somewhere around that point would be a wake up call to make sure he has some money tucked away at the very least, if not for some safe investments. Oh well, just another common story of a millionaire athlete wasting his money.

Too bad about Browner but age caught up with him. I was hoping for some veteran support when needed and leadership for the young guys in the secondary plus just good old fashioned LOB support, but if he can't play he can't play, fuck it. I still have a tiny bit of hope that Simon "gets it" and things click for him this season, since he obviously has the size and athleticism, he just needs the IQ and discipline to put it all together, which for some guys takes several years to happen so hopefully that comes together this season, if not then i don't see him on the roster next year.

So good to see Rawls back in there, even if only for a couple plays. He just needed to get hit a couple times to know for certain mentally he's fine. Had a nice 7 or 8 yard run on the second carry too. And the way Christine Michael has been running, man, they are going to be a hell of a one two punch. I'm excited for this offense for a change and honestly a little more worried on the defensive side for once. I have a feeling this offensive line is going to be a big improvement, maybe it will take a couple games or so to come together as a unit but overall I think it will be way better. Whatever weaknesses they have defensively can be balanced out by a better offense that can control the clock.

Some interesting cuts made to get us to 53

Marcus Burley
Eric Pinkins
Jordan Hill
Will Tukuafu
Tye Smith

The only one I was seriously surprised at was Jordan Hill but it sounds like they took a gamble and tried to do the new IR move, with the intent of activating him later in the season.

That is a big gamble as I could easily some other team signing him off waivers because his injury doesn't sound major at all and he is a pretty decent d lineman (injury prone but still good).
