Apparently every administration since the founding of the Republic is brainless too because none has done anything meaningful to curb immigration. Good thing you were born to point that out. I agree with you, we are basically fucked with the choices we have. The future is going to be bleak.

It's cool seeing Bernie kicking Hillary's ass and because he's kicking so much ass, but still "losing", more and more people are leaning about "Super Delegates" and just how undemocratic this process truly is.

Bernie Sanders is on a roll.

He has won 6 of the last 7 Democratic nominating contests, including an impressive victory over Hillary Clinton in the Wisconsin primary on Tuesday. He outraised Clinton by US$15 million in March and trails her by only one percentage point in the most recent national poll of Democratic primary voters.

But despite his recent victories, he still faces one daunting and inescapable problem: the Democratic superdelegates overwhelmingly support Clinton. Sanders simply cannot win without them. Even if he keeps his winning streak going, he has no chance of securing the nomination without persuading the superdelegates to switch sides.

Makes me cringe to see a guy like Trump who obviously has been involved in highly shady business practices talk about a rigged system, since he's apart of that very same rigged system. But I'm glad it's not only Bernie talking about it. At the end of the day, the party chooses who they want to represent them, not the people and that's what's key here - it's their party, not ours. Its not democracy at all, you can vote in the primaries but they don't really count. Then you're told you can vote A or B, after each party tells us who is their candidate, and claim this is democracy at its finest. Not much different than the old Iraq/Saddam jokes about how the people can vote but there's only one box to check, only here we have two boxes and even then the majority winner can still lose!

What I hope comes out of this election is for Bernie to run as an independent after the Dems inevitably select Hillary and use this momentum into building a 3rd party for the working class. Of course there will be cries of "but Bernie will only be stealing votes from Hillary and Trump will win, so we have to vote the lesser evil!" which of course is the same lame arguments were hear every time (think Ralph Nader). It's essential we break away from the undemocratic two party system and hopefully Bernie can be apart of that and not shamefully drop out only to support Hillary, which would be the ultimate slap in the face (he maintains he'll never do that).

Family trees, particularly those in a limited geographic area, tend to converge relatively rapidly and many family trees going back ten generations or more will connect to more than one dozen U.S. Presidents, if all female ancestors and their descendants are traced

Trump 2016. Anti-PC, anti-SJW, anti-feminist. The culture war overrules whatever your policy positions are. I'd rather have a more libertarian candidate, but Trump is the great reset button on the American political system to pave the way for libertarian candidates in the future.
