Who should be responsible for fixing the problems with blacks in the US?

i don't think that blacks will ever be treated the same as whites. there are too many stereotypes and ignorant (white) people that think that all blacks are criminals. i hope i'm not being racist or suppporting a stereotype here, but i also think it has to do with the black culture. i've noticed that usually when a group of black folks get on the bus, they are louder than most. or at a picnic or a gathering, they talk loud and have a good time. i think this just scares whitey to death. we white folks feel threatened, so we find anything that makes us look dominant towards blacks. those are my thoughts. i'll add more when i'm thinking a little more clearly if i remember to.

I wouldnt say its the black culture. If a group of black people, on a bus, were dressed in all Hip Hop clothes, then I would imagine some whites or any other race for that matter, might be a little nervous. But if you had a group of blacks in business suites and briefcases, I doubt anyone would be nervous.

The same goes for any race. If a group of white men, with mohawks and spiked leather jackets were on the bus, speaking loudly, Im sure many people would be nervous no matter if themselves were white.

Personally, I'm a little more optimistic then you, I think racism will eventually fade away...Maybe when us humans learn there are green men outside of our own little planet.
