he's basically calling Russia & China enemies, after the cold war ended and after the fact that the chinese goverment loans and helps out the US goverment wit money

this guy is apart of the US establishment elite, so he's exposing there imperialist mentality, they ain't about peace but having total domination over the whole world and controlling the worlds resources, they want to have there cake and eat it

he obviouly dosen't like the fact news stations like rt does authentic journalism and exposes the truth on the issues of today and isn't the laughing stock, piss take, cartoony, propaganda outlet's, i mean news stations wit integrity like fox news and so on

The Chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors, overseeing US media directed at foreign audiences, says his organization needs more money to fight its enemies. Namely Iran, Venezuela, Russia and China.

"We can't allow ourselves to be out-communicated by our enemies," Walter Isaacson said. "You've got Russia Today, Iran's Press TV, Venezuela's TeleSUR, and of course,

China is launching an international broadcasting 24-hour news channel with correspondents around the world."

"This has nothing to do with journalism. It's about soft power and pushing the American policy agenda," said RT political commentator and Crosstalk host Peter Lavelle. "It looks like the chairman is a little worried that the world isn't believing him or his organization anymore. They are catching up."

Instead of focusing on providing the audience with facts and maybe a new perspective on things, Isaacson is waging media wars, notes Lavelle.

"He treats anyone who is a competitor as an enemy. 20 years after the end of the Cold War, one has to wonder whose mentality has changed and whose hasn't," he added.

As for the timing of the statement, Peter Lavelle suggested that, among other things, it is related to the economic situation in the US.

"We have a depressed economy in the United States and there will probably be a double dip. So there are priorities. He is worried about losing budgets. He is saying 'Look at our competitors - they are pouring money into soft power, into alternative journalism.' And into the truth, I would say," said Lavelle, adding that this scares Walter Isaacson.

Maybe just people that hold thoughts similar to your views, which wouldn't be a bad thing. What you can't seem to realize is that they aren't against us normal citizens. The west has always fucked with them and tried to extort countries in that region. The original leaders of the revolution worked to have a separation of church and state but America blew that to shit doing terrorist attacks. One of their main heroes from way back was an American btw.

The current president of Iran has stated numerous times that they want Israel out of existence with an epic slaughter, and he has also dug mass graves for the event of a US invasion. If the US did a powerhouse attack though with the USAF, Navy, Marines, Army Field Artillery it would be another Desert Storm that would end in absolute rape. Still not sure why they haven't been using the military's full capablities in the middle east currently...
