Was there ever such a short period of time where so many people were blatantly assassinated? In just a two year period here is a list of just some political leaders and activists that were murdered, many as a result of such programs as COINTELPRO:

Government is a corrupt idea for the most part...it is at least synonymous. Central Banks and Big Business have pretty much controlled the dialogue throughout history. These are the experts and technocrats who some users here trust with our future because we aren't smart enough.

I was thinking about this the other day too......

America's Government was not ready for a Vocal Black Population.

But in a very interesting way, these people made a bigger impact after their death than they did when they were living. Most, if not all of those deaths were related in 1 way or another.

The story of the Martyr....

Whether or not we agreed with their position on a topic it does not take away from their courage to speak up for what they perceived as the Truth.

a lot of these people are basically forgotten and in the case of the black panthers it was absolutely devastating to the survival of their party and movement. COINTELPRO completely destroyed them.

Lesson to revolutionary leaders - If you succeed in mobilizing a mass political movement to reform current class inequities, you will be murked. Hence we have no more revolutionaries with an influence worth a damned.

(waits for some one to promote Ron Paul)

According to the documentary I watched the other day..........these assassinations and the struggles in these times made the Crips and Bloods come to fruition.

Not surprisingly so though.........I believe the Black Panther Party was considered the #1 Public Enemy to the United States at that time?

I THINK ALOT HAS TO DO WITH HOW THE NORMAL POPULATION IS CONDITIONED...WE WORRY ABOUT BULLSHIT ASS CONSUMER ISSUES BEFORE OUR OWN RIGHTS.

OUR GOVERNMENT KNOW'S HOW TO MANIPULATE THE MEDIA...AND FOR THE MOST PART THE AVERAGE JOE FEELS THEIR ISNT ANYTHING THAT CAN BE DONE.

IF PEOPLE WERE MORE PROACTIVE...IT WOULD DEFINITELY BE A DIFFERENT BALLGAME
