Misdemeanor assualt charges against Titans cornerback Pacman Jones were dismissed today in general sessions court.
Judge John Aaron Holt said the testimony of Krystal Webb, who had claimed Jones spit in her face following an argument at a downtown nightclub on Oct. 28, and two of her friends was inconsistent.
Jones indicated a civil attorney had asked for $50,000 to settle the dispute. On the witness stand he also said he'd been fined $100,000 by the NFL for the incident.
Afterward he said he expects to recoup that money now with an appeal to the league.
