Lega-C Gets Bloody In Disturbing New Music Video “That Bitch”
Tulsa, Oklahoma rapper/producer/actress Lega-C, who burst onto the independent music scene with her platinum YouTube video “White Girl Raps Fast”, has released “That Bitch”, the first official music video from her much-anticipated Block Starz Music debut album, “Off My Medication”, available Halloween.
“That Bitch” centers around a shy high school girl, played by Lega-C (born Danielle McLean), who suffers from bulimia and merciless teasing at the hands of two female classmates and finally snaps in a spectacular violent outburst. The video for “That Bitch” debuted at Faygoluvers.net on Monday, October 23 and has been described by RapReviews.com as “a song that seems to take out years of pent up bullying in high school in a straight up Columbine fashion” (read full review).
“That Bitch” is the street companion to “Speaking Sublimely”, Lega-C’s official radio single from “Off My Medication”, which features Wrekonize, an MTV Battle II alum and lead vocalist of Strange Music’s acclaimed rap/rock band ¡Mayday!
“I’ve struggled with weight issues myself in the past and I know how painful [that] can be for school girls, especially when you add in bullying from other students,” says Lega-C, who will embark on a tour of various Southwest and Midwest cities to promote “Off My Medication” this fall.
“This video presents a worst case scenario that could happen if the issues are left unaddressed.”
